The Porsche Boxster is a luxury roadster that has been in production since 1996. In 2012, Porsche introduced the fourth generation 981 Boxster, which featured an even more refined design, an updated interior, and a more powerful engine. This model was available in several different trim levels, including the Boxster, Boxster S, and Boxster GTS.

In 2016, Porsche introduced the fifth generation 982 or 718 Boxster, which featured an updated design, a more powerful engine and an updated interior. This model also featured advanced driver assistance systems and a more advanced infotainment system.

Throughout its history, the Porsche Boxster has been known for its excellent handling and performance. In 2021, Porsche announced that the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman will be replaced by new models, and that the production of the 718 Boxster would come to an end.
