As Porsche call them ‘Service Information Technik’ (STI)

Porsche is a luxury sports car manufacturer from Germany that has been in operation for over 70 years. The company was founded by Ferdinand Porsche in 1931 and is headquartered in Stuttgart.

The first Porsche model, the 356, was produced in 1948. It was a lightweight and nimble car that quickly gained a reputation for its excellent handling and performance. The 356 was followed by the 911, which was first introduced in 1963 and is still in production today. The company has had a long and successful history in endurance racing, including multiple wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the World Endurance Championship. Porsche has also had success in rally racing and has won multiple championships in the World Rally Championship.

Porsche has also been at the forefront of automotive technology, and has been instrumental in the development of hybrid and electric vehicles. The Porsche 918 Spyder, a hybrid supercar, was first introduced in 2013 and was one of the first production cars to feature hybrid technology. And in 2019, Porsche introduced the Taycan, its first all-electric vehicle.

Today, Porsche continues to produce some of the most sought-after sports cars in the world and is considered one of the most prestigious car brands. The company is still headquartered in Stuttgart, and is now part of the Volkswagen Group. With more than 70 years of history, Porsche is one of the most respected and recognizable car manufacturers in the world.
